Architect Technician - 0804
Our client in the
Bellingham WA area
is an Architectural Company that is looking for an
Architect Technician
with to support their expanding business.
Ideal candidates will have experience working in an architecture firm, have experience with Sketch Up Pro
- 1-4 years of experience in multi-dimensional architecture office desired.
- B. Arch (or equivalent) accredited degree or relevant professional experience
- Working knowledge of Sketch Up and Layout is preferable
- Working knowledge in Auto Cad, Adobe Suites, MS Office, are helpful
- Great attitude, highly motivated, detail oriented, with good verbal communication.
- Self-starter, team player, that doesn't require extra supervision.
- To be punctual, reliable and have dependable transportation.
Duties Include (but not limited to):
- Modeling;
Drafting with Sketch Up and Layout. - 3D modeling, plans, elevations, sections, details.
- Project site visits for As-builts, photo's, and Construction Observation.
- Structural drawings, foundation, framing and details.
- Sketch-Up 3D modeling & Layout Working Drawings.
- Adobe Suites -- rendering, proposals, website, etc.
- MS Office Suite -- Word, Excel, Power Point, Publisher, etc.
- Some client, contractor and permitting interaction.
- Basic understanding of ACAD and/or Revit.
Possible Benefits Include:

We are looking for an experienced Architectural Design Technician to provide additional design, drafting, and project management support for our firm that focuses on residential, multi-family, commercial, care, and community projects within Northwest Washington.
B. Arch (or equivalent) accredited degree or relevant professional experience
3-5 years of multi-family, mixed-use, residential & commercial project experience
Working knowledge of Sketch Up with an understanding of Layout
Ability to produce and coordinate Construction Documents
Working knowledge of G-Suites, Auto Cad, Creative Suites, & other relevant programs
- Additional Valuable
Skills:- Rendering, 3D printing, proposals creation, social media, etc.
- Google suites - Docs, Sheets, Mail, Calendar, etc.
- Basic ability with Auto Cad for engineering coordination
- Construction experience
- Quarterly profit sharing
