Temporary Clerical/Administrative Pool
Western Washington University, with over 15,000 students in seven colleges and the graduate school, is nationally recognized for its educational programs, students and faculty. About the PositionThis temporary clerical/administrative pool is utilized across campus to support departmental needs. Your total work hours will not exceed 1050 hours in any consecutive 12‑month period from the original date of hire.
Responsibilities- Reception responsibilities
- File maintenance
- Fiscal related duties
- Departmental correspondences
- High school graduate or equivalent
- Six months of clerical work experience
- Basic understanding of Microsoft Office – including Word, Outlook
- Ability to interact effectively with diverse populations
- Effective communication skills
- Two years of clerical/office experience
- Basic understanding of Microsoft Excel
Dependent upon position. Temporary employees who work more than 350 hours in a twelve‑month consecutive period from your original date of hire will be included in an appropriate bargaining unit.
