Staff Accountant - Bellingham, WA

This position is a full-time, on-site role located in Bellingham, WA. The Staff Accountant will perform a wide range of accounting tasks, including preparing financial statements, managing accounts payable and receivable, conducting account reconciliations, and maintaining accurate financial records. Additional responsibilities involve assisting with tax preparation, ensuring compliance with applicable regulations, and providing support in the creation of budgets and financial forecasts.

• Proficiency in financial statement preparation, account reconciliation, and general ledger accounting
• Strong knowledge of accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll processing
• Experience with tax preparation, budgeting, and financial forecasting
• Familiarity with accounting software and tools, such as Quick Books or similar platforms
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
• Outstanding attention to detail and accuracy in work
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities to collaborate with team members and clients
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is required
• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation is a plus
