As a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP), you will:
Work with the Early Intervention populationConduct speech-language assessments to determine eligibility for speech servicesEvaluate, diagnose, and treat speech, language, communication, and swallowing disordersProvide training and education to family/caregiversCarry out goals provided from Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)Keep detailed records of client condition, care plans, therapies, and progressReport client progress to appropriate partiesQualifications:
Master's degree in Speech Language PathologyValid Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology and licensure for the state of CaliforniaAbility to work flexible hoursPart-time (minimum of 5 hours per week)Position is for in-home services with occasional clients that request Telehealth therapyStrong organizational skillsExperience working with children is preferredExcellent coaching and verbal and written communication skillsBilingual in Spanish is beneficial but not requiredCFYs are welcome to applyPay is based on experience.
Home Health areas of service include: Bellflower, Norwalk, Artesia, Cerritos, Downey, Lakewood, Long Beach, and Torrance.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $45.00 - $60.00 per hour
Expected hours: 5 – 40 hours per week
