Tilt Tray Operator; Equipment

Overview

Join a safety‑first team transporting hire equipment across Perth and regional WA. We’re looking for an experienced Tilt Tray Operator who can load, secure and deliver plant and equipment safely and professionally.

• Safely load, secure, transport and unload hire equipment (e.g. skid steers, excavators, EWP, telehandlers, forklifts) to client sites.
• Perform daily pre‑starts
  , defect reporting and keep your truck clean and presentable.
• Work closely with the Hire Controller and workshop to meet delivery schedules and customer expectations.
• Follow Chain of Responsibility (CoR),
  mass & dimension
  , fatigue and site safety requirements at all times.
• Occasional after‑hours call‑outs and regional runs.

• WA HR class driver’s licence (manual) — HC highly regarded.
• Construction Induction Card (White Card).
• Load restraint competency (certificate or proven experience using chains, binders, straps, chocks).
• National Police Check (NPC)
• Ability to pass pre‑employment and random Drug & Alcohol testing
  .

• High Risk Work Licence – CV (Vehicle Loading Crane/HIAB).
• LF Forklift licence
  ; WP EWP licence
  .
• DG (Dogging) and Senior First Aid
  .
• Prior experience moving hire plant and oversize loads; understanding of AS/NZS load restraint standards.

• Proven tilt tray experience and a clean driving record.

• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to safety and customer service
  .

• Reliability, good communication, and the ability to work independently.
