The opportunity

Unity is shaping the future of how developers understand and serve their players. As a Principal Product Manager for IAP+, you will lead the evolution of Unity's in-app purchasing system, helping developers monetize across app stores and web platforms. IAP+ represents Unity's strategic wedge to capture more value while delivering seamless player experiences, breaking down traditional boundaries between app and web commerce.

This role offers the chance to help build a unified platform that empowers developers to attract, understand, and retain players across every touchpoint. We are seeking a forward thinker who can navigate complexity and turn our vision of an end-to-end platform into reality, serving millions of players reached by Unity creators worldwide.

• Help build the product strategy and roadmap for IAP+, focusing on the transition from app-based to web-based transactions while maintaining seamless multi-platform support

• Define and track key metrics that demonstrate value for developers, including transaction success rates, integration efficiency, and revenue optimization across app and web channels

• Collaborate with engineering, design, and business development to implement a cohesive platform experience for developers and players

• Partner with key decision makers to align IAP+ with Unity's broader platform vision, ensuring tight integration with Unity Engine, Vector, and analytics capabilities

• Champion player-first solutions by gathering insights from developers and end users, translating feedback into features that solve monetization challenges

• Proven track record of shipping successful payment or commerce products at scale, with measurable impact on revenue and user experience

• Deep understanding of payment systems, including app store billing (Google Play, Apple App Store) and web-based payment flows, with experience in AdTech or monetization ecosystems

• Effective written and verbal communication skills, with ability to influence technical and business audiences

• Demonstrated critical thinking abilities to navigate complex platform ecosystems and identify innovative solutions

• Data-driven approach to product decisions, with ability to define and track important metrics that drive results

• Experience building developer-facing tools or APIs, with commitment to creating intuitive experiences that enable creators to build better games

• International relocation support is not available for this position
