Key job responsibilities

This role will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining tools and systems that enable Amazon Leo’s compliance with extensive regulatory obligations. As a Senior Software Development Engineer, you will partner closely with compliance colleagues, technical program managers, and product management to deliver robust, scalable tooling and system solutions that support Amazon Leo's compliance efforts across GSC.

You will architect and implement software solutions that integrate with Amazon Leo's engineering infrastructure (software and networking systems). You will lead the technical design and implementation of large‑scope systems, including critical business initiatives that span multiple teams and services. You will mentor junior engineers, establish engineering best practices, and drive technical excellence across the organization.
