Description

PTGR Strategies is seeking Signature Collectors located in Washington D.C. to aid in gathering essential signatures for a candidate for Congress. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to engage directly with the community and contribute to an impactful campaign. As a Signature Collector, you will be the face of our campaign, motivating individuals to participate and ensuring accurate signature collection in a fast-paced environment.

Your energetic approach and commitment will help drive success and make a tangible difference.

Signature Collectors will receive compensation and the job will run until the necessary signatures are collected. Interviews will be set on a first come, first serve basis.

• Engage with the public in various locations to collect signatures for the campaign.
• Clearly explain the purpose of signature collection efforts and answer questions from potential signers.
• Ensure all signatures are accurately recorded and comply with campaign guidelines.
• Maintain a professional, approachable demeanor while representing the campaign's values.
• Manage materials efficiently, including distributing and collecting petition sheets and supplies.
• Track daily collection progress and report results to supervisors promptly.
• Follow all safety protocols and adhere to local regulations during outreach activities.

• Excellent communication skills with the ability to motivate and engage diverse audiences.
• Strong interpersonal skills to build rapport quickly and handle questions confidently.
• Organized with attention to detail for accurate data recording and reporting.
• Energetic, proactive, and able to work independently or as part of a team.
• Reliable transportation and flexibility to work in different locations and times as needed.
• Prior experience in canvassing, community outreach, or advocacy is a plus but not required.
• Ability to maintain a positive attitude under pressure while representing the organization professionally.
