Overview

We are hiring a full-time PORTER.

Location:

700 Bellevue Way NE, Bellevue, WA 98004.

Schedule:

Monday through Friday, 5:00 am to 1:00 pm. Will train for the role.

• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the front of the house, including tables, counters, floors, windows, and the beverage station.
• Bus, clear, and clean tables and sweep floors during peak service; prep areas prior to service.
• Follow safety procedures when transporting dishes and utensils from the front of the house to the kitchen using trays, bus tubs, or carts.
• Wash dishes, glasses and pots; clean cooking stations and equipment to maintain sanitation and smooth service flow.
• Scrape and rinse food from dishes and wash by hand or load into dishwashing equipment as assigned; ensure complete cleanliness and sanitation.
• Keep display equipment clean and in compliance with safety and sanitation standards during meals.
• Receive heavy deliveries from dock and transport to storage areas while observing safe lifting standards.
• Assist with other duties as assigned.
• Ensure proper presentation, portion control, and maintenance of serving temperatures; follow HACCP standards.
• Commit to personal safety and the safety of others.
• Follow company policies and procedures, including use of protective gloves, oven mitts, and slip-resistant shoes as appropriate.

• Previous stocking experience is preferred but not required.
• Willingness to train and learn on the job.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adhere to safety and sanitation standards.
