Din Tai Fung (DTF), a globally acclaimed culinary icon, invites qualified candidates to apply for the Executive Kitchen Manager role at its Bellevue, WA location (10455 NE 8th St, Ste 20, Bellevue, WA 98004 - Lincoln Square).

Co‑lead the restaurant, partnering with the General Manager to drive overall success. Own back‑of‑house operations, manage inventory, control costs, and maintain high standards for food quality, safety, and cleanliness.

• Operations Management – Oversee all kitchen operations, ensuring efficiency, quality control, and compliance with food safety.
• Leadership & Team Development – Lead by example, hire, train, coach, and motivate the back‑of‑house team.
• Performance & Accountability – Set clear performance objectives, hold staff accountable, and communicate business strategies.
• Financial Management – Manage departmental budgets, monitor profitability, and run kitchen‑related initiatives to boost sales.
• Scheduling & Staffing – Develop work schedules, maintain staffing levels, and build a strong leadership bench.
• Inventory & Vendor Management – Control inventory, ensure accurate ordering, and nurture vendor relationships.

• 3+ years of kitchen management experience in a high‑volume, full‑service restaurant.
• Strong knowledge of food safety, inventory, and cost control.
• Proven leadership ability to hire, train, and develop teams.
• Ability to manage budgets and interpret financial statements (food cost, labor cost, P&L).
• Effective communication and organizational skills.

• Culinary degree.
• Proficiency with scheduling and inventory software.

Salary Range: $120,000 – $145,000 annual base salary, plus incentive plan.
