Job Summary And Responsibilities
As a Clinic RN Manager, you will be a central figure in our patient care team, delivering exceptional, compassionate care that truly makes a difference in our patients' lives.
An incumbent anticipates/plans for future changes, and works collaboratively with physicians/staff and other stakeholders to assure optimal clinic productivity/patient flow, customer service and effective allocation of resources. Work is performed within scope of licensure and is strongly focused on creating strong, positive and sustained inter‑departmental teamwork to meet the needs of patients/providers and drive decision‑making and other actions.
To be successful in this role, you will combine robust clinical knowledge and technological proficiency with genuine compassion, strong communication skills, and an adaptable approach to learning and patient‑centered care.
- Identifying/implementing timely performance/process improvement opportunities
- Monitoring/reporting clinic metrics/results
- Collaborating with HR employment team in support of recruitment/retention strategies to maintain optimal clinic staffing
- Overseeing the resolution of complaints/service issues to facilitate positive customer experience
- Developing/administering clinic budget
- Coordinating clinic patient care, security, risk management, disaster readiness and facilities upkeep/maintenance activities; and managing/evaluating the work of clinic staff.
- Skill in prioritizing the demands of daily operations and organizing resources
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Knowledge of medical assistant scope of practice
- Sufficient active listening and conflict management skills
- Established skill in facilitating change, cultural integration, retention, and building effective teams.
- Addressing and rectifying patient and/or staff concerns
- High level problem solving skills with flexible solutions for a changing healthcare market.
- Creates and motivates team to generate innovative ideas and challenge the status quo.
- Uses VMPS to identify a problem, route cause, and engages the team in solutions.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing
- Three (3) years of experience as a nurse supervisor, assistant nurse manager, or nurse manager.
- Current WA State RN license is required.
- CPR certification is required every two years or as specified by the work.
- Graduation from an accredited school of nursing approved by the Washington State Board of Nursing.
- Please be advised that this location requires quarterly American Heart Association (AHA) Resuscitation Quality Improvement (RQI) competency certification post‑hire. This ongoing competency is required through resources internal to the facility; outside RQI competency resources are not acceptable for Common Spirit Health compliance requirements.
- Master’s Degree with Ambulatory clinic experience.
