Job Description
Sirius Staffing is hiring a Manufacturing / Assembly Technician for a contract assignment at a Bellevue manufacturing site. This role supports production and assembly operations, including equipment operation, kitting, and packaging activities.
Hours:
6a-230p Mon – Fri
Due to the site's upcoming closure in June, a production bonus incentive is offered for employees who remain through the end of the contract.
Production Bonus IncentiveBonuses are paid based on full months worked within the following periods:
- January – March (Payout in April)
- April – June (Payout in July)
- 1 full month worked: $1,000
- 2 full months worked: $2,000
- 3 full months worked: $3,000
Partial months do not count toward the bonus (for example, starting on 11/3 or 11/10 would not qualify for that month).
Key Responsibilities- Perform equipment operating and kitting duties, including assembling, filling, cleaning, inspecting, labeling, and packaging products.
- Follow verbal and written operating procedures to meet quality specifications:
- Operate equipment such as:
- Scales
- Bottle fillers
- Peristaltic/Digistaltic pumps
- Sealers
- Torquers
- Use measuring instruments to ensure conformance to specified tolerances
- Identify and report quality issues to the supervisor and take corrective action when possible
- Enter production data and print reports using computer systems
- Work under general supervision, with detailed instruction provided for new tasks or special projects
- Demonstrate reliability and accuracy that directly impacts team performance
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- 3–5 years of relevant manufacturing or assembly experience
- Ability to read, follow, and understand operating procedures
- Ability to read, speak, and understand English
- Ability to perform basic math and count large numbers accurately
- Willingness to learn multiple production operations and adapt quickly to new tasks
- Effective written and verbal communication skills for reporting production information
- Ability to work a full shift in a designated manufacturing area
- Basic computer skills for data entry and report printing
- Ability to work under close supervision initially and progress to less supervision over time
Physical Requirements
- Standing, reaching, bending, twisting throughout the shift & ability to lift up to 35
lbs.
