International Compliance Manager

Title: International Trade Compliance Manager

Location: Bellevue, WA

Type: Permanent/Direct Hire

Pay: $120K - $160K + DOE

Summary:

• Manage strategic risk assessment and audit functions to ensure regulatory compliance, domestic and internationally
• Follow and report on trade actions and provide insights including impact analysis and forecasting
• Manage the international compliance team, brokers, and service providers overseeing US, Canada, and Mexico import and export compliance
• Manage part classifications and team to ensure parts are classified accurately and timely to avoid border crossing delays and entry errors
• Support SAP GTS implementation, training, and maintenance
• Manage post entry activities including post entry corrections, protests, reconciliation, and prior disclosures
• Manage the duty savings and refund programs and team, including USMCA and other Free Trade Agreements, duty drawback, CBSA Annex 9963, etc.

Qualifications

• Licensed US Customs Broker required
• Bachelor's degree in Business, logistics, or related field required
• 8+ years of experience with 5+ years in experience in Trade compliance
• Strong knowledge of US and Canada customs laws
• 2+ years of experience managing teams and service providers
• Motivated self-starter with excellent interpersonal, verbal, written, and presentation skills
• Ability to travel both domestic and internationally
