The AWS Cloud Logistics team is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Supply Chain Specialist in Bellevue, WA to manage day‑to‑day warehousing operations for the fastest growing industries in the world while working on projects to further enhance our operation. AWS Infrastructure Services owns the design, planning, delivery, and operation of all AWS global infrastructure. In other words, we’re the people who keep the cloud running. You’ll join a diverse team of software, hardware, and network engineers, supply chain specialists, security experts, operations managers, and other vital roles. Key Job Responsibilities
  • Engage in daily tactical communication with external vendors (Logistics Service Providers) and internal customers
  • Lead large projects independently
  • Travel to audit warehouses throughout NALA (mostly domestic USA)
  • Analyze data from numerous databases (using Excel, SQL and/or other data management systems) and perform reporting and analysis as needed
  • Publish performance metrics to assist with driving business results
  • Quickly and efficiently understand the business impact of observed trends and make decisions based on available data
  • Identify and eliminate root causes of defects in order to drive efficiency in Amazon’s transportation operations
  • Work with multiple stakeholder teams in the Supply Chain to jointly solve problems and implement standards
  • Work within time constraints to meet critical business needs
Basic Qualifications
  • 2+ years of program, project or product management, or leading product implementation experience
  • 6+ years of related industry experience
  • 8+ years of data analysis using tools such as Excel, Pivot Tables, SQL, Tableau, or equivalent experience
  • 8+ years of high-volume manufacturing operations or sourcing environments experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, or a related field
  • Experience with Continuous Improvement and Six Sigma methodologies
  • Experience in global supply chain management, managing cross‑functional teams in a fast‑paced consumer electronics product company
Preferred Qualifications
  • Master’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Computer Science, or a related field
  • Experience in data centers, infrastructure service providers, or related technology companies
  • Experience in negotiations with global suppliers with a proven track record in cost reduction
  • Experience in procurement practices working with engineering, supply chain and Tier 1 OEM partners
  • Experience practicing best‑in‑class procurement processes (category management, benchmarking, should‑cost models, RFX, reverse auction, contracting, or equivalent)

The base salary range for this position is $147,900 – $200,100 USD annually. Your Amazon package will include sign‑on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location. Amazon also offers comprehensive benefits including health insurance (medical, dental, vision, prescription, Basic Life & AD&D insurance and optional supplemental life plans), EAP, mental health support, medical advice line, flexible spending accounts, adoption and surrogacy reimbursement coverage, 401(k) matching, paid time off, and parental leave.
