SAP BTP RAP UIConsultant

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy applications using SAP BTP Environment and SAP RAP (Restful ABAP Programming Model).
• Implement RAP behaviour definitions, CDS views, service bindings, service definitions, draft handling, and transactional processing.
• Build end‑to‑end OData V4 services using RAP and integrate with UI frameworks such as Fiori Elements and UI5.
• Develop reusable CDS artifacts, business logic, and extensibility frameworks within the BTP ecosystem.
• Integrate SAP BTP applications with S4
  
  HANA, SAP ECC, SAP Cloud Integration (CPI), Event Mesh, Destination Service, and other BTP services.
• Optimize performance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure compliance with SAP clean‑core and cloud‑ready coding practices.
• Collaborate with architects, functional consultants, and Dev Ops teams to design secure and scalable solutions.
• Prepare technical documentation, design specifications, and contribute to architecture discussions.

• Strong expertise in SAP RAP (managed/unmanaged scenarios), CDS Views, Annotations, Behaviours, Metadata Extensions, OData V4 services, and Fiori Elements consumption.
• Experience integrating BTP applications with S4
  
  HANA, CPI, API Management, Event Mesh, Destination Service, and IASIPS.
• Solid understanding of cloud‑native principles, multi‑tenant apps, and deployment on SAP BTP.
• Experience with Git‑enabled Change and Transport System (gCTS) or ABAP Git.
