We are aiming for Y Combinator. We’re building with a YC mindset: high ownership, fast iteration, and strong technical foundations.

Shopint is a decision intelligence platform that helps people and businesses understand large volumes of publicly available customer feedback. We analyze public reviews to surface recurring product issues and reliability signals, turning noisy information into clear, neutral insights — without tracking users.

Our long-term goal is to build a neutral decision‑intelligence layer that can support both human decision‑making today and machine reasoning in the future. We’re building carefully, but moving fast. Shopint is currently in MVP/demo B2C testing stage and we are intentionally validating fundamentals before any full B2C launch.

• Build and own the B2B backend infrastructure
• Design and implement multi‑tenant APIs
• Secure data pipelines and analytics endpoints
• Enterprise‑ready foundations: auth, billing, usage tracking
• Scale the system as customers and data grow

• 3+ years Python backend experience
• Strong FastAPI experience
• Security mindset (multi‑tenant isolation, input validation, SQL injection prevention)
• Production experience (error handling, monitoring, scaling real systems)

• Stripe integration
• Redis / caching / rate limiting
• Background jobs (Celery, RQ, or similar)
• AWS experience (ECS, RDS, S3)
• Prior B2B SaaS experience

• A co‑founder who: comfortable with early‑stage ambiguity, understands B2B SaaS fundamentals, wants real ownership, not just a job, and is aiming for YC / venture‑scale outcomes.

• Ownership of backend architecture and execution
• Direct influence on product direction
• A serious path toward YC and beyond

• AI‑powered analysis of common themes and patterns
• Currently in early beta with active testing

• Retailers need aggregated product feedback insights
• Brands want scalable sentiment understanding
• Research teams need structured review intelligence
• Shopint’s data pipeline is designed to support these needs

Location: Seattle preferred (remote‑friendly for the right partner)!!!
