In This Role
In this role, you will support usability research for enterprise‑grade and security‑focused software products, enabling product teams to make informed, data‑driven decisions. You will contribute to competitive benchmarking efforts, usability studies, and research documentation that influence product direction and user experience quality.
You will collaborate closely with researchers, designers, engineers, and product stakeholders to define research questions, design studies, analyze findings, and communicate insights clearly. This role requires comfort working with complex, technical systems, strong organizational skills, and the ability to balance research rigor with timelines and cost considerations.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute competitive benchmarking research plans for enterprise and security products
- Define and document tasks, metrics, and success criteria used in benchmarking and usability studies
- Support full usability research cycles, including planning, execution, analysis, and reporting
- Contribute to the creation of best‑practice guidelines, research frameworks, and documentation
- Partner with cross‑functional stakeholders to align on research goals and priorities
- Assist with the execution of pilot usability studies and iterative research efforts
- Clearly communicate research findings, insights, and recommendations to stakeholders
- Apply sound judgment to select appropriate research methods based on cost, timelines, and research objectives
- Manage multiple research initiatives simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail
Required Qualifications
- Proven experience in User Experience (UX) Research
- Experience conducting usability studies, research planning, and execution
- Demonstrated understanding of competitive benchmarking and research metricsl
- Experience working with enterprise software or technically complex products
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross‑disciplinary teams (product, design, engineering)
- Strong communication skills with the ability to articulate research insights clearly
- Strong organizational, planning, and project management skills
Education (one of the following or equivalent experience):
- Bachelor’s degree with 4+ years of UX Research experience
- Master’s degree with 3+ years of UX Research experience
- Doctorate with 1+ year of UX Research experience
