Cybersecurity Program Manager

This is a contract position for an initial term of 6+ months, with the possibility of extension based on project needs and client discretion.

We are seeking an experienced Cybersecurity Program Manager to lead a greenfield SIEM modernization initiative for a large enterprise environment. This role is ideal for someone who has built SIEM platforms from the ground up and can confidently drive complex security programs while engaging executive leadership.

The client is looking for a hands-on Cybersecurity Program Manager who has:

• Built a Greenfield SIEM platform from scratch (this is the single most critical requirement)

• Led a SIEM modernization or transformation program, not just operations
• Strong cybersecurity domain depth, not just PM skills
• Experience working in Managed Services or Professional Services, meaning: client-facing, delivery-oriented, comfortable with ambiguity and fast execution

• This PM must understand the technical architecture, not design it, but: SIEM platforms (Splunk, Sentinel, QRadar, Chronicle, etc.)
• Data ingestion pipelines
• Data lakes
• Cloud-native environments

• Able to translate technical risks into executive-level communication
• Operate 100% onsite in Bellevue, WA (non-negotiable)

• Lead end-to-end execution of a SIEM modernization program from greenfield to production
• Drive program planning, execution, dependency management, and risk mitigation
• Manage cross-functional teams across Cybersecurity, Data Engineering, and Software Engineering
• Partner closely with security architects and engineers to align delivery with security standards
• Track milestones, deliverables, and KPIs while managing stakeholder expectations
• Communicate program status, risks, and outcomes to senior leadership
• Ensure alignment with enterprise security, compliance, and best practices

• Proven experience as a Program Manager in Cybersecurity
• Hands-on experience building a SIEM platform from scratch
• Strong understanding of SIEM technologies and security event pipelines
• Experience working with data lakes, data engineering, and cloud-based platforms
• Ability to manage complex, multi-workstream programs
• Background in Managed Services or Professional Services environments
• Excellent executive communication and leadership skills

• Experience with Software Engineering or Dev Ops practices
• Familiarity with cloud-native security solutions
• Certifications such as Checkpoint CCSE
• Data Pipeline / Data Engineering Certifications
• Experience with SIEM platforms such as Splunk, Sentinel, QRadar, or similar
