Data Analyst, Data Engineer, Data Science Manager
- Identify and integrate new data sources by collaborating with application owners and securing appropriate access.
- Perform data integration from non-SQL systems into SQL databases, ensuring data accuracy, integrity, and consistency.
- Create and manage automated processes to maintain data veracity, data velocity, and reliability.
- Define technical requirements for integrating analytics and visualization tools such as Power BI and Streamlit.
- Design, develop, and deploy automated Power BI dashboards with row-level security (RLS) using Active Directory authentication.
- Conduct data validation and KPI parity checks against legacy reports; investigate and resolve any discrepancies or deltas.
- Optimize Power BI performance through model tuning, DAX optimization, and query reduction techniques.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation including data dictionaries, DAX/measure catalogs, refresh schedules, RLS procedures, and runbooks.
- Lead knowledge transfer sessions and provide detailed handovers to internal teams.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Data Science, IT, and Business Analytics to align deliverables with organizational goals.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 7+ years of relevant experience in data analysis, data integration, and reporting.
- Strong proficiency with SQL and relational database design.
- Experience with data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) from multiple structured and unstructured sources.
- Proven hands-on experience with Power BI, including DAX, RLS, and performance tuning.
- Working knowledge of Python, Streamlit, or related scripting/visualization tools is a plus.
- Deep understanding of data governance, data integrity, and data validation principles.
- Strong analytical, documentation, and communication skills with the ability to work in a hybrid, team-based environment.
Preferred Skills
- Experience collaborating with Data Scientists and Machine Learning Engineers on analytical and predictive projects.
- Exposure to Azure, AWS, or other cloud data ecosystems.
- Knowledge of Active Directory integration and enterprise data security practices.
