Job Description
• Build technical skills of Support Engineers by providing technical guidance and mentoring.
• Review support engineer open cases and provide technical guidance.
• Conduct case review meetings at least once a week.
• Maintain strong working relationships with MS Technical Advisors (TAs).
• Document call coaching for all Support Engineers under responsibility. Formulate action plans with the Team Manager for Support Providers with poor service quality or technical skills.
• 2+ years of prior experience in technical troubleshooting, preferably at the enterprise level.
• Demonstrates confidence in leading others through difficult and challenging assignments.
• MCITP, MCTS, or MCP certifications (not mandatory).
• Understanding of Active Directory.
• Overall understanding of networking concepts, including DNS, routing, DHCP, firewalls, load balancers, and other networking hardware.
• Experience or knowledge in configuring mail clients (Outlook or others).
• Basic understanding of Windows Server 2008/2012.
• Basic understanding of other email systems besides Microsoft.
• Experience or knowledge of on-premise Exchange 2007/2010/2013/2015.
• Knowledge of mail transport fundamentals (POP/IMAP/SMTP).
• Experience or knowledge of auto-discover, Outlook connectivity, OWA, Active Sync, MRM, public folders, EWS, free/busy, mail routing, SMTP relay, recipient configuration, e-discovery, and discovery search (preferred).
• Experience or knowledge of Exchange databases, backup and restore, DAG, CCR, etc.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills—both written and verbal—with professional command of the target language.

Preferred: Each Technical Lead should complete the components of the MCITP certification relevant to their technical queue within 12 months of hire. These include:
- Latest available certification in supported technology
- Managing Office 365 identities and requirements
- Enabling Office 365 services (note: certification exams are regularly updated).
