Sr. Technical Program Manager, Artificial General Intelligence - Data Services

The Amazon Artificial General Intelligence Data Services (AGI-DS) organization develops diverse datasets to train and evaluate Amazon AI models. We are looking for a strong technical, customer-focused Senior Technical Program Manager with skills that span science, complex data creation, software engineering, product management, large-scale planning, and sheer vision. This role works closely with scientists, engineers, and data consultants to define, track, and execute data generation tasks for model training and evaluation across multiple model variants and benchmarks, through multiple data creation channels.

Key Responsibilities
  • Act as the primary point of contact and account owner for key science customers.
  • Build and execute plans to fulfill customers’ mid-term and long-term data needs across diverse domains, novel data formats, and multiple fulfillment channels.
  • Identify opportunities to multiply innovation across different data work streams and lead advances into science and complex data representations.
  • Collaborate with teams, stakeholders, scientists, Language Engineers, and partner product teams on an elbow-to-elbow basis.
Basic Qualifications
  • 7+ years of experience working directly with engineering teams.
  • 5+ years of technical product or program management experience.
  • Experience managing programs across cross-functional teams, building processes, and coordinating release schedules.
  • 3+ years experience in complex data creation for AI models.
Preferred Qualifications
  • 5+ years of project management disciplines including scope, schedule, budget, quality, risk, and critical path management experience.
  • Experience managing projects across cross-functional teams, building sustainable processes, and coordinating release schedules.
  • Experience defining KPIs/SLA’s used to drive multi-million dollar businesses and reporting to senior leadership.
