Sr. Technical Program Manager, AWS Manufacturing

Overview

You’ll join a diverse team of software, hardware, and network engineers, supply chain specialists, security experts, operations managers, and other vital roles. You’ll collaborate with people across AWS to help us deliver the highest standards for safety and security while providing seemingly infinite capacity at the lowest possible cost for our customers. • Capacity modeling for line, testing, labors for exiting and new products factoring in cycle time, yield, utilization and other variables
• Propose the line modeling (line vs cell) based on product complexity, volume, form factors etc.
• Work with NPI and Operation teams to monitor and revise the capacity model, making sure the capacity coverage for the demand
• Engage continuous improvement projects within four-walls for cycle time, cost and quality
• Engage in cross functional projects for the end-to-end fulfilment improvement from process and system perspectives
• Develop business metrics and conduct analysis, identify gaps between plan and execution and propose corrective actions

• 5+ years of technical product or program management experience
• 7+ years of working directly with engineering teams experience
• 5+ years of technical program management working directly with software engineering teams experience
• Experience managing programs across cross functional teams, building processes and coordinating release schedules
• Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science or equivalent

• 5+ years of project management disciplines including scope, schedule, budget, quality, along with risk and critical path management experience
• Experience managing projects across cross functional teams, building sustainable processes and coordinating release schedules
• Experience defining KPI s/SLA s used to drive multi-million dollar businesses and reporting to senior leadership
