As a Software Development Engineer on our Last Mile Technology team, you'll be at the forefront of solving these intricate puzzles. You'll work on systems that make intelligent decisions in real‑time, optimize complex logistics networks, and coordinate thousands of delivery events across diverse geographical areas. Our systems must excel in environments ranging from dense urban centers to suburban neighborhoods, each presenting unique challenges that require innovative solutions.

• End‑to‑End Ownership:
  Work on complete solutions from route optimization to fleet management, from simulation to real‑world deployment.

• 3+ years of non‑internship professional software development experience.
• 2+ years of non‑internship design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience.
• Experience programming with at least one software programming language.

• 3+ years of full software development life cycle experience, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations.
• Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several U.S. geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $129,300 per year in our lowest geographic market up to $223,600 per year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and information. Amazon is a total compensation company.
