Alibaba Cloud – U.S. operations, Bellevue, WA.

Base salary $133,200 – $219,600 per year. Total compensation may vary by location, experience, performance.

• Ensure stability of Alibaba Cloud Big Data & PAI products in the U.S. region – monitoring, incident response, change release, troubleshooting complex customer issues.
• Manage cloud platform costs – budgeting, forecasting, service scaling, deployment, decommissioning.
• Support nighttime emergency response operations for China region during GMT+8 business hours.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
• 5+ years experience in development/operations of large‑scale distributed systems.
• Expert‑level Linux system administration.
• Proficient in open‑source big data architectures and Alibaba Cloud proprietary products.
• Strong troubleshooting, performance optimization, and scripting skills (Python/Shell).
• Hands‑on Kubernetes experience – architecture, issue diagnosis, change releases.
• Excellent communication;
  Chinese language proficiency is a significant advantage.
