• Certified Medical Assistant (Required)
• 2 years’ experience in a medical office (Preferred)
• Ability to work dynamically in a team
• Work independently and efficiently in a busy environment
• Patient and friendly personality
• Interfaces well with staff, physicians, patients, and their families

• Acts as scribe and chaperone during surgical consults with the Plastic Surgeon
• Participates in post-operative care
• Works directly with Plastic Surgeon
• Assists in all aspects of providing direct patient care
• Chart all vital information in EMR as well as check to be sure all information related to medication, health history and reason for visit is obtained and documented
• Stock supplies and clean exam and procedure rooms
• Communicate with patients and direct questions to appropriate staff member
• Assist and take notes in consults, injection appointments and other treatments
• Report test results to patients as indicated by physician in a timely manner
• Assist patients with online portal access
• Assist providers with in-clinic procedures
• Coordinate care and diagnostic testing at other facilities as indicated by physician
• Assist with surgery scheduling
• Accomplish other front office tasks such as records filing, faxing, opening mail, etc.
• Help with basic housekeeping tasks such as laundry and staff lounge, etc.
• Complete duties as directed by supervisor
