About Eastside Counseling Center

At Eastside Counseling Center (ECC), we believe that true healing unfolds at the intersection of mind, body, and spirit—and that therapy is most transformative when it honors the fullness of a person’s humanity and life story.

We serve individuals, couples, and families with compassion, creativity, and collaboration, offering a deeply supportive environment where both clients and clinicians can grow, evolve, and thrive. Our mission is to cultivate safe, inclusive, and nurturing spaces where transformation is not only possible, but inevitable—where healing is rooted in connection, guided by curiosity, and sustained by community.

Clinicians often describe ECC this way:

“ECC has changed my life for the better. I’m a better therapist and a better person because of the relationships, supervision, and consultation I’ve received here. It’s one of the best professional experiences I’ve ever had.”

Joining our team means becoming part of a dynamic collective dedicated to reimagining what mental health care can be. Here, your developing clinical voice is supported, your growth is intentional, and your work is held within a strong framework of mentorship, supervision, and community. Together, we are redefining mental health as a pathway to wholeness—for our clients, our community, and ourselves.

How

We Support Associate Clinicians

At ECC, we believe associate clinicians thrive when learning happens within relationship, structure, and safety. We intentionally protect time, autonomy, emotional safety, stability, connection, and community, recognizing that sustainable development requires both support and trust.

You will be supported through consistent supervision, collaborative consultation, and clear expectations—so you can grow with confidence, curiosity, and a strong sense of professional identity.

Position Overview

As a Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist Associate (LMFTA) at ECC, you will practice from a systems-based lens—supporting clients not only as individuals, but within the relational, family, and broader systems that shape their lives.

This role is designed for associates who are actively building clinical experience and seeking high-quality supervision, mentorship, and professional community within a collaborative group practice. You will work alongside experienced clinicians and supervisors in an environment that values learning, dialogue, and thoughtful clinical development.

This position is ideal for associates who are passionate about relational healing, couples and family work, and growing their confidence and competence within a supportive, integrative clinical setting.

Responsibilities
  • Provide therapy to individuals, couples, and families under LMFTA scope of practice, with a strong focus on relational dynamics and family systems
  • Conduct biopsychosocial and relational assessments and collaborate with clients to develop treatment plans with supervisory support
  • Participate in individual and group supervision toward licensure with experienced supervisors
  • Maintain timely, accurate, and compliant clinical documentation in accordance with ethical, legal, and organizational standards
  • Engage in weekly case consultation and monthly team meetings to support learning, clinical growth, and collaboration
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including counselors, social workers, psychiatrists, and integrative practitioners, as appropriate
  • Adhere to Washington State LMFTA licensure requirements, ethical standards, and scope of practice
  • Engage in ongoing learning, feedback, and professional development
Our Approach to Growth, Feedback, and Learning

We approach associate development through clear communication, consistent support, and shared responsibility. ECC fosters a safe, open environment where associates are encouraged to ask questions, express needs, offer feedback, and grow at a sustainable pace.
