Position: CNA Home Health - King County

Description

Careage Home Health is hiring a compassionate Certified Nurse Assistant to visit with patients in their homes throughout King County. This position requires traveling and visiting with multiple patients in their homes daily.

  • Pay is $24-27.30/hr
  • Paid Mileage
  • Must have an active CNA license
  • Must have their transportation, a valid driver’s license, and automobile insurance to meet requirements for WA state
  • Must be able to complete and pass a Fingerprint background check upon hire, and periodically as required by state law
Summary Of Responsibilities

The purpose of this position is to provide direct care to patients, under the supervision of a licensed nurse, in accordance with policies and procedures.   • Understands and adheres to established Agency policies and procedures.
  • Performs personal care, bath, and hands‑on care as assigned.
  • Completes appropriate visit records in a timely manner as per Agency policy.
  • Reports changes in the patient’s condition and needs to the RN.
  • Performs household services essential to health care in the home as assigned.
  • Ambulates and exercises the patient as assigned.
  • Assists with medications that are ordinarily self‑administered as assigned.
  • Attends in‑service and continuing education programs as scheduled and necessary.
  • Attends patient care conferences as scheduled.
  • Must be able to concentrate and use reasoning skills and good judgment.
Requirements
  • Must possess a minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Must have basic computer skills.
  • Must have an active WA State CNA license.
  • Must have a valid driver’s license and automobile insurance to meet or exceed the requirements for the State of Washington.
  • Must be able to complete and pass a Fingerprint background check upon hire, and periodically as required by state law.

  • Must possess the ability to read, write and speak English.

  • Certified in First Aid/CPR.

  • Have a sympathetic attitude toward the care of the sick and elderly.
  • Ability to carry out directions, read and write.
  • Ability to deal effectively with the demands of the job.
  • Capable of meeting all requirements that may be specified by the state or other regulatory agencies.

  • Must be able to sit, stand, bend, lift, push, pull, stoop, walk, reach, and move intermittently during working hours.
  • Ability to work for extended period of time while standing and involving physical activity.
