Overview

We are seeking an outstanding Staff Accountant to join Coldstream Holdings Inc. This role offers the opportunity to work in a close-knit Finance and Payroll team of five, reporting to our Finance Manager and collaborating closely with our Director of Finance. This position also offers cross-training and exposure to a broad range of accounting responsibilities, making it an excellent opportunity to expand your skill set.

We are located near downtown Bellevue and have a hybrid work environment. Standard hours are 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., with in-office days on Wednesdays and Fridays and the flexibility to work remotely on other days. During month-end close, additional in-office days may be required outside of the regular schedule.

Responsibilities
  • Perform full cycle accounts payable, including invoice preparation, payment processing, and ledger reconciliations.
  • Prepare monthly financial statements for two subsidiaries, complete with supporting balance sheet schedules.
  • Maintain vendor files and collect necessary information for various reporting requirements.
  • Maintain daily cash activities, including posting and monitoring for suspicious activities.
  • Review and process employee expense reports in Concur.
  • Process weekly check run and ACH payments.
  • Support team and entities for timely month end closing activities, including preparing journal entries and reconciliations for various accounts.
  • Continuously strive for process improvement and quality outcomes as part of the monthly closing process.
  • Complete ad hoc projects from the Director of Finance and other team members
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting (accounting major required)
  • 1-3 years of relevant accounting experience
  • Intermediate Excel skills and experience with Quick Books Enterprise
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
  • The desire to work in a collaborative team
  • Great organizational skills and willingness to dive into the details
  • Ability to interpret and research accounting guidance
  • Self-motivation and execution focus, with the ability to track due dates and take individual responsibility for delivering quality work in a timely manner
  • Strong process and system skills, as well as the ability work effectively across functions to resolve issues
Job Benefits

In terms of pay expectations, we assess each candidate individually based on their experience and qualifications and offer competitive compensation that reflects the value they bring to the team. Base pay typically starts between $70,000 – $85,000 plus an annual bonus and a generous benefits package.
