Legacy Wealth Financial Consultants is an independent financial services practice of Thrivent in Bellevue, WA. We provide personalized financial guidance to people at all stages of life, viewing money as a tool to help clients live meaningful lives.

This role could be a good fit for candidates seeking their first opportunity, career changers or professionals currently working in the financial industry.

Responsibilities
  • Meet with potential clients to build genuine, long-term relationships based on shared values and goals.
  • Educate and empower clients to make knowledgeable financial decisions about investments, insurance, retirement and generosity.
  • Build a strong personal network through local nonprofits, churches and businesses for future growth.
  • Develop skills and best practices to be a successful financial advisor.
  • Start building your book of business after licensing and training, with the goal of joining the sponsoring team in the traditional financial advisor role.
Licensing and Training

Over the first 8 to 13 weeks, study for and obtain necessary licenses (varies by individual situation), which may include:

  • Resident state Life, Health and Annuity
  • Securities Industry Essentials (SIE)
  • Series 6 and 63, 7 and 66, or 7, 63 and 65

After licensing, you may enroll in a comprehensive 6-week training program.

  • Strong technical computer aptitude and knowledge of business tools (e.g., Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Salesforce)
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and maintain a high quality of work while experiencing frequent interruptions
  • Ability to maintain integrity of sensitive/confidential information
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience. Military veterans are encouraged to apply.
  • Satisfactory background check, fingerprinting and securities registration and/or insurance licensing verification, if applicable.
Compensation and Benefits

Compensation is $75,000-$90,000 (base revenue package with upside potential through commission). Note that total compensation varies based on the practice’s strategy, qualifications, and location.
