Key Responsibilities- Serve as a Subject Matter Expert, sharing specialized knowledge and insights within the business unit.
- Make recommendations to improve internal processes and department procedures.
- Identify and communicate business opportunities for both clients and the firm.
- Monitor industry trends, identify client issues, and proactively present solution options to management and the team.
- Oversee and review engagement deliverables to ensure quality control standards are consistently met.
- Partner with firm leadership on business development, including client meetings, presentations, and proposal preparation.
- Demonstrate a strong understanding of Qualified Plan needs and related client requirements.
- Supervise, mentor, and develop staff through regular performance feedback, training, and evaluations.
- Foster a team‑oriented culture, support management decisions, and contribute to a positive, collaborative work environment.
- Perform additional responsibilities as assigned.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required;
Master’s degree preferred. - Minimum of 8 years of experience in public accounting or a related field.
- At least 5 years of supervisory experience with demonstrated leadership skills.
- Active CPA license (or equivalent certification) required and must be maintained.
- Proven ability to manage deadlines, balance multiple priorities, and adapt to changing needs.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills across all organizational levels.
- Proficiency in relevant tax and accounting technology tools.
- Ability and willingness to travel based on business needs.
