As a Tax Preparer, you will inspire clients to make confident, informed decisions about their finances, building stronger client relationships over time.

• High‑school diploma or equivalent.
• Strong reading and math skills for completing tax return interviews.
• Excellent communication skills, both in person and on the phone.
• Experience with Windows‑based computer programs.
• Additional state and local requirements may apply.
• Additional coursework in math, accounting, or finance is a plus.

• Enter client and W‑2 information into the tax program at the start of interviews.
• Assemble the tax return, obtain required signatures, review the finished product with the client, and complete bookkeeping procedures at the end of interviews.
• Ensure all H&R Block clients receive superior service.
• Perform all other duties as assigned.

$11.00–$27.00 per hour. Local minimum wage laws apply. Compensation may include incentive or short‑term plans.
