Aboutthe Role
We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Design Verification Engineer to spearhead our Client's design verification initiatives. This role involves working on complex consumer electronics systems, including PC architecture, and requires a deep understanding of validation processes across various subsystems. The ideal candidate will have hands‑on experience in creating and executing test plans and a background in collaborating with international contract manufacturers.
WhatYou'll Be Doing
- Design Verification:
Lead the verification of advanced consumer electronics systems, particularly focusing on PC architecture. Develop and execute verification plans to ensure design integrity and performance. - Test Planning and Execution:
Create detailed test plans and execute tests across multiple subsystems. Analyze results, identify issues, and provide solutions to ensure high‑quality product performance. - Platform‑Level Validation:
Conduct broad platform‑level testing and measurement to validate interactions across different subsystems and ensure overall system reliability. - Collaboration:
Work closely with design teams to understand design requirements and provide feedback. Coordinate with overseas contract manufacturers to ensure alignment and resolve any issues. - Documentation:
Prepare comprehensive documentation of test plans, execution results, and issues. Communicate findings and recommendations to both technical and non‑technical stakeholders. - Mentoring:
Guide and mentor junior engineers, sharing best practices and promoting a culture of continuous improvement.
Required Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in design verification with a strong background in consumer electronics, particularly PC architecture.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
- Proficiency in verification languages (e.g., System Verilog, UVM, VHDL). Experience with simulation and formal verification tools (e.g., Model Sim, Questa).
- Proven hands‑on experience in creating and executing test plans, with a track record of successfully validating complex systems.
- Experience with platform‑level validation across various subsystems.
- Willing and able to travel to Taiwan and/or China for business.
- Fluent in Mandarin preferred
- Experience working with overseas contract manufacturers is highly desirable.
