ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES
Our advanced nuclear client is seeking a highly motivated Commissioning Engineer III to join their team. In this role, you will be focusing on the integrated design, commissioning, and operation of plant systems, structures, and integrated analysis of the facility.
Develop and implement commissioning programs and procedures and the commissioning schedule.
Provide expertise on regulations, policies, and industry best practices.
Lead commissioning and design efforts to evaluate transient event responses and provide recommendations for efficient plant operational strategies.
Support licensing activities.
Provide leadership and oversight to the nuclear island commissioning programs, processes, and procedures.
ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS
BS Degree in an engineering discipline
7+ years of direct nuclear power plant experience commissioning safety-related (or equivalent) systems and components.
5+ years with nuclear reactor operating experience.
Experience developing or using nuclear plant commissioning admin processes/procedures.
Experience working to quality standards like NQA-1 OR ISO 9001
Experience in technical writing.
BONUS QUALIFICATIONS
Experience developing/approving nuclear plant operations and maintenance procedures.
Experience with Primavera P6 or similar.
Knowledge of risk informed methodologies.
