FIFO from Perth, DIDO from surrounding areas, or residential.

Lakewood is located 6km from Kalgoorlie, with our mining operations located within a 40km radius of the processing facility.

Roster: 8/6, day shift only.

Our UG Production Engineers are responsible for the short-term mine schedule, mine designs, production plans, and production reporting in support of underground mine production activity.

As the Kalgoorlie site is a start-up, this role presents a unique opportunity to develop, implement, and refine new systems and processes from the ground up, shaping the way the operation runs and driving continuous improvement across the site.

We’re looking for someone with a positive, can-do attitude who is eager to learn, shows initiative, and is willing to take on new challenges.

Tertiary qualification in Mining Engineering or equivalent.

Minimum two (2) years’ experience in the underground mining industry in a production engineer position with exposure to various mining methods and mine engineering; short term scheduling, drill and blast and mine ventilation.

Ability to attain the Western Australian Underground Supervisors Certificate.

Demonstrated skills and knowledge in the health and safety legislative and statutory requirements within the underground mining environment.

User of mine planning and scheduling software packages preferably Deswik.
