Long-Term Substitute Teacher (Grades 4–6) Finish the School Year Strong with Close Reach Academy! Close Reach Academy is looking for a Long-Term Substitute Teacher for Grades 4–6 to join our community and help us finish the school year strong!

About the Role This long-term substitute will step into an established classroom and:
Guide students in grades 4–6 through core subjects Maintain a positive, consistent classroom culture Collaborate with our supportive faculty and leadership team Help students stay engaged, confident, and curious through the end of the year You won’t be starting from scratch—we’ll make sure you’re set up for success with curriculum support, clear expectations, and a team that has your back.

We will provide training in our experiential learning model. Who We’re Looking For You might be a great fit if you:
Have experience teaching or supporting students in grades 4–6 Are adaptable, organized, and love hands-on learning Enjoy building relationships and creating a warm classroom environment Believe students learn best when they feel known, challenged, and supported Bring both structure and joy to learning Formal certification is a plus, but not required—the right heart, mindset, and skill set matter most. Bachelor's degree in Education or a similar field required.
