Special Education Teacher – $50/hr – Bellevue, WA – Full-time – 5 Months Position Overview

We are seeking a Special Education Teacher to provide quality services to students in grades K–12. This role involves planning and implementing individualized programs, delivering specialized instruction, and collaborating with general education staff to support student success.

• Interview: 40-minute virtual interview

• Provide individualized instruction aligned with student IEPs
• Collaborate with general education teachers and related service providers
• Monitor student progress and adjust interventions as needed
• Participate in IEP meetings and maintain compliance with state and federal guidelines
• Foster a safe and supportive classroom environment

• Valid Washington State teaching certificate with Special Education endorsement
• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university (preferred)
• Minimum one year of teaching experience (preferred)
• Current CPR certification (if applicable)
• TB questionnaire, PPD or chest X-ray (if applicable)
• Must meet all federal, state, and local requirements
• Must be at least 18 years of age
