We are WAGI

WAGI is seeking a Full‑Time Board Eligible/Certified Gastroenterologist – Physician to join and grow our well‑established community‑based practice with a partnership track. This is an outpatient‑based role with work/life balance achieved through a 4‑day work week and an equal share of inpatient and call responsibilities, no less than 1:10.

Washington Gastroenterology is the largest GI practice in Washington State. With over 30 Board‑Certified Gastroenterologists and 20 Advanced Practitioners, we offer clinical, endoscopic and laboratory services from 15 locations in Western Washington. Clinical services include hemorrhoid banding, capsule endoscopy, breath test, manometry/pH studies, ERCP, EUS and infusion services. In our Endoscopy Centers, we utilize state‑of‑the‑art technology and equipment to perform colonoscopy, upper endoscopy, flex sig and esophageal dilation.

Benefits and Compensation

  • Medical, dental, vision, long‑term disability, accidental death and dismemberment, and basic life insurance for full‑time employees (30+ hours/week)
  • 401(k) plan with maximum employer contributions for MDs
  • 5 weeks of annual vacation time
  • Salaried position with compensation range of $450,000 – $500,000

Responsibilities

  • Provide outpatient gastroenterology care in a community‑based practice setting
  • Participate in inpatient care and call duties with an inpatient/call ratio of at least 1:10
  • Perform endoscopic procedures including ERCP, EUS, colonoscopy, upper endoscopy, and other advanced GI services
  • Engage in quality improvement, clinical governance, and collaboration with physician executives and regional clinical boards

Qualifications

  • Board‑eligible or Board‑certified in Gastroenterology
  • Full‑time availability with a 4‑day work week model
  • Experience with outpatient and inpatient services, including endoscopic procedures
  • Strong commitment to patient‑centered care and quality outcomes
