Operations Manager
Responsibilities
- Responsible for the coordination and completion of project-program; oversees all aspects of projects-program; sets deadlines, assigns responsibilities, monitors and summarizes progress of project-program; prepares reports for upper management regarding status of project-program; may require a bachelor's degree and 2-4 years of experience in the field or in a related area; familiar with a variety of the field’s concepts, practices and procedures;
relies on limited experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals; performs a variety of tasks; leads and directs the work of others; a wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected; typically reports to a manager or head of a unit‑department. - Collaborate with Line Replaceable Unit (LRU) teams to verify and validate Bills of Materials.
- Ensure accuracy and completeness of component specifications before procurement.
- Procurement Vendor Management.
- Source and procure test racks, test fixtures, harnessing components and PCBA boards to support engineering and testing operations.
- Place purchase orders and manage vendor relationships to ensure timely delivery of critical testing equipment.
- Logistics Coordination and Stakeholder Communication.
- Proactively communicate delivery timelines and estimated time of arrival (ETA) updates to internal requestors.
- Coordinate receiving logistics and distribution when parts arrive at the facility; serve as the primary point of contact for test equipment procurement inquiries.
- Inventory Project Support: track and monitor outstanding orders to maintain visibility on procurement pipeline.
- Support cross‑functional teams by ensuring testing infrastructure is available when needed.
This is a contract position based out of Bellevue, WA.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $40.00 - $43.00/hr.
