Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented professional to support centralized test rack procurement on a temporary basis to backfill a team member on maternity leave. This role will focus on Bill of Materials (BOM) verification, procurement coordination, and vendor management to ensure accuracy and efficiency in the purchasing process. The ideal candidate brings procurement and logistics experience, strong stakeholder communication skills, and the ability to work independently while collaborating across teams.
Key Responsibilities- Collaborate with Line Replaceable Unit (LRU) teams to verify and validate Bills of Materials (BOM)
- Ensure accuracy and completeness of component specifications prior to procurement
- Support centralized test rack procurement activities
- Coordinate with vendors to manage purchasing and logistics processes
- Communicate with stakeholders to resolve discrepancies and ensure alignment
- Maintain documentation and system updates related to procurement workflows
- Operate with strong attention to detail while meeting timelines
Skills & Qualifications Must-Have Hard Skills (Top
3)
- Procurement Experience – Hands‑on experience managing purchasing processes and vendor coordination
- Service Now – Experience using Service Now for tracking and workflow management
- Logistics Experience – Understanding of supply chain and logistics processes
- Stakeholder Communication – Ability to effectively coordinate with cross‑functional teams
- Strong attention to detail in BOM verification and documentation
- Ability to work independently while collaborating in a shared team environment
- Strong problem‑solving capabilities
- Ability to dive deep into specifications to ensure procurement accuracy
- Experience with Smartsheet
- 1–3 years of relevant experience in procurement, logistics, or operations
