Responsibilities

  • Monitor and improve operational workflows to ensure smooth and efficient data transfer into Net Suite.
  • Identify inefficiencies and lead process improvements implementation.
  • Onboard new items in Net Suite by ensuring key data like BOMs, routes, raw materials codes, and other details are available for use.
  • Participate in key production-related meetings and ensure details like selection of work order numbers, staging of materials, and subsequent return of materials after production are done correctly.
  • Coordinate cross-departmental projects to meet organization goals and objectives.
  • Generate periodic and ad hoc reports for customers and other departments within NMF as required.
  • Analyze operational data to identify trends and opportunities.
  • Collect and organize data, presenting it in dashboards and reports to facilities key operation decision-making for internal teams.
  • Work closely with the finance team to generate and track KPIs.
  • Ensure smooth communication and execution of company policies.
  • Assist in project management and implementation of new systems.
  • Address operational challenges related to Net Suite as they arise.
  • Develop solutions to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Ensure minimal disruptions to daily operations by coordinating with the Net Suite support team when there are system issues.
  • Assess Net Suite training needs for required teams and conduct sessions to ensure that key personnel are fully equipped to utilize the system effectively.
  • Identify and implement system enhancements to optimize use of Net Suite.
  • Provide recommendations and execute on process changes and system updates to enhance daily workflows and operations.
  • Assist internal teams with new hire onboarding through training on operational policies and procedures.
  • Provide sales support, including but not limited to account maintenance, customer acquisitions, and retention efforts as required.
  • Follow all Food Safety, HACCP, Quality, and Operational procedures (SOPs) as defined in NMF’s Quality Management System.
  • Other projects and related duties as required.
Process Management
  • Responsible for gathering teams, identifying needs, and proposing action plan to ensure smooth and efficient workflows.
  • Tracks project management deliverables, actions and timelines, ensuring accountability from parties involved.
  • Responsible for managing system implementations, process improvements and conduct training to internal teams.
Physical Requirements & Working Conditions
  • This is a Monday to Friday schedule with hours aligned to the core working hours of the business. Overtime, weekends and statutory holiday work may be required from time-to-time.
  • Travel to other work sites may be required from time-to-time.
Experience
  • 3+ years relevant experience in a food manufacturing or related industry required.
  • Previous experience in account management, sales or equivalent role is an asset.
  • Post-secondary education in business administration, sales, marketing or equivalent.
Knowledge & Skills
  • Knowledge of Food Safety, GMP and HACCP standards are an asset.
  • Advanced proficiency of Microsoft Office suite required (MS Word, Excel, PPT, Outlook).
  • Strong decision-making and analytical skills, with the ability to address and resolve issues with discretion.
  • Effective communication skills to engage with all levels of the organization, including internal and external customers.
  • Excellent time management skills and the ability to manage competing priorities.
  • Customer-centric approach to ensure high levels of service and satisfaction.
  • High attention to detail, meticulous, and able to maintain a high level of quality.
  • Resourceful, adaptable and a collaborative mindset.
