The Opportunity

We are seeking a reliable and detail-focused Sales Support Data Entry & Administration Assistant to join our team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys a fast-paced environment, has strong organisational skills, and takes pride in accuracy and customer service.

You will work closely with Sales, Operations, Administration, and Management to ensure smooth day-to-day business operations.

Key Responsibilities

In this role, you will:

  • Prepare quotes and complete accurate data entry and sales documentation.
  • Provide customer service support via trade counter and phone.
  • Process supplier purchase orders, receipting and job allocations.
  • Support stock control, stocktakes and inventory accuracy.
  • Process customer payments, cash reconciliations and banking.
  • Provide general administration and records management support.
  • Assist Accounts, Sales and Operations teams with day-to-day requirements.
  • Maintain safety, housekeeping and compliance standards across the branch.
About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • Confidence using Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, and job management systems.
  • Previous experience in a similar sales support or administration role (highly regarded).
  • High attention to detail with a strong focus on accuracy.
  • Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritise workload.
  • The ability to manage multiple tasks in a busy environment.
  • Strong communication and customer service skills.
  • A proactive, team-focused attitude.
