Addison Group is partnering with a technology‑driven entertainment company seeking an experienced accounting professional who enjoys a mix of accounting, process ownership, and collaboration with both internal teams and external partners.

What You’ll Do
  • Manage accounting activities and reconciliations of licensing payments.
  • Monitor payment activity, identify issues such as failed transfers, and implement corrective actions.
  • Distribute payments to appropriate banks and partners, while ensuring proper revenue recognition.
  • Prepare reports that summarize KPI and data to drive decisions.
  • Monitor and maintain banking platform and in‑house tools.
  • Partner with business teams to provide financial insights related to contracts and developers.
  • Own reconciliations for royalties and related accounts, ensuring discrepancies are quickly resolved.
  • Coordinate year‑end tax reporting,
  • Liaison with partners on banking, tax, and compliance matters.
  • Lead process improvements to streamline workflows and strengthen controls.
  • Support broader finance department initiatives and cross‑train within the team.
What We’re Looking For
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required
  • CPA or previous public accounting experience a plus.
  • Minimum 10 years of accounting experience.
  • Experience with payments related to licensing and publishing rights preferred.
  • Strong technical skills in Excel, accounting software, and online banking platforms.
  • Proven ability to manage complex reconciliations and maintain accuracy under deadlines.
  • A detail‑oriented and strategic mindset.
  • Strong problem‑solving and communication skills; able to work independently and collaboratively.
  • A proactive, adaptable professional who thrives in a growing, fast‑paced environment.
Our Client Offers

$180,000 to $200,000 base salary range dependent on experience. Discretionary bonus based on company performance and tenure.

  • Position offered is hybrid office schedule. Must be able to work full‑time in office when needed.
