Auditing Clerk

Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Auditing Clerk to join our team on a contract basis in Bellevue, Washington. In this role, you will assist with auditing processes, primarily focusing on non-profit clients. This position is ideal for someone with strong analytical skills and a background in audits.

Responsibilities:

- Conduct thorough audits for non-profit clients, ensuring compliance and accuracy.

- Assist in preparing detailed reports and documentation related to audit findings.

- Collaborate with team members to address discrepancies and improve processes.

- Utilize tax audit expertise to review financial records and identify potential risks.

- Work with auditing software to streamline engagement and reporting tasks.

- Maintain records and ensure all data is organized for easy reference.

- Communicate findings and recommendations to clients and stakeholders.

- Stay updated on relevant regulations and compliance standards.

- Support the implementation of audit improvements and best practices. Requirements - Previous experience in auditing, with a focus on non-profit organizations preferred.

- Proficiency in tax audits and financial review processes.

- Familiarity with auditing software and tools.

- Strong attention to detail and ability to analyze complex financial data.

- Excellent communication skills for client and team interactions.

- Knowledge of regulations and compliance standards related to audits.

- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
