Substitutes are on‑call employees in the following areas:
Special Education Paraprofessionals, Custodians, Extended Daycare Paraprofessionals, Food Service aides.

Applications are being accepted for a Substitute Custodian position. Applicants will be paid 15.00 per hour and receive paid training for the position.

The Substitute Custodian is responsible for the general care and upkeep of assigned areas of the buildings, grounds, and equipment. Duties include fundamental cleaning skills, lifting, following directions, and the ability to physically handle setup and teardown of activity events. To a lesser extent, the Substitute Custodian assists with maintenance support. The assignment may change in areas and duties within this job description.

The Substitute Custodian is responsible for carrying out the instructions of the custodial leader and the building administrator. The candidate may also be required to mow, trim hedges, and remove snow, which may require working flexible hours in inclement weather. Candidates must enjoy working around children and work well with others as a team.
