Description

The Garrett Group is seeking a Visualization and Database Subject Matter Expert (SME). The position entails the management and utilization of various data visualization and database tools to facilitate assessment execution. The ideal candidate should possess a combined 7 years of experience in using Tableau, Power BI, Sequel, Access, Excel, Visual Basic, and SharePoint for visualization and database purposes, with the years of experience being cumulative across these tools.

Key Responsibilities:

• Database and Visualization Management:
  Utilize tools like Tableau, Power BI, Sequel, Access, Excel, Visual Basic, and SharePoint to maintain and manage databases, perform analysis, and create visual representations of data.
• Graphical User Interface Development:
  Design, develop, and maintain front-end graphical user interfaces using visualization tools, specifically Tableau, in accordance with established requirements.
• Data Management:
  Support the management of modeling and simulation data, ensuring its accuracy and relevancy for assessment purposes.
• Interface Development and Maintenance:
  Develop, use, and maintain interfaces between relational databases and analytical and visualization software, streamlining data entry and extraction processes.
• Tool Utilization and Maintenance:
  Utilize and maintain various analytical, visualization, and word processing tools, including the Microsoft Office suite, Excel macros, and Tableau/Tableau Server to aid in analysis and assessment.
• SharePoint Management:
  Manage and tailor assessment sites on Microsoft SharePoint, ensuring they are optimized and aligned with project requirements.

Overall, the role involves a comprehensive understanding and application of database and visualization tools to support efficient assessment execution, data management, and interface development, ultimately contributing to informed decision-making processes.

Requirements:

• 7 years combined visualization and data basing experience in the use of Tableau, Power BI, Sequel, Access, Excel, Visual Basic and SharePoint visualization and database software. Tableau experience is required plus any combination of the other visualization tools.
• NOTE:
  
  Certification or completed course work in Tableau is preferred not required for this position.

NOTE:
Experience will be a cumulative total of all years combined (i.e. 2 years Access, 3 years visual basic and 3 years Sequel will be calculated as 8 years' experience - please specify years of experience in all visualization/data basing tools you have reflected in your resume.)
