We are seeking a General Surgeon for a 56-day locum tenens assignment in Nebraska beginning Mar 16, 2026. This opportunity features a 7 on/7 off schedule, with a mix of outpatient clinic during the week, operating room days, and 24-hour weekend call. Candidates should be experienced with cases including gallbladder, hernia, bowel obstruction, and appendix procedures.

Responsibilities and Duties
Provide general surgery services in an outpatient clinic setting during the week
Perform surgical procedures including gallbladder, hernia, bowel obstruction, and appendix cases
Participate in operating room days as scheduled
Take 24-hour weekend call as part of a 7 on/7 off rotation

Additional Information
Iowa medical license required
Board certification in General Surgery required
Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Basic Life Support (BLS) certifications required
