Location: Bellevue, NE (work performed at our Omaha office)
Pay: $20 – $40 per hour (DOE)
Schedule: Full-time; flexible; increased hours during Tax Season
Work Location: In-person (Omaha office)

ATAX Omaha is seeking a Senior Experienced Tax Preparer
. We are sourcing candidates in Bellevue, NE. Based in our Omaha office, you’ll handle complex tax scenarios, ensure accuracy and compliance, and provide expert guidance to clients.

• Prepare and review complex individual and business tax returns
• Stay current with federal, state, and local tax regulations
• Explain tax matters clearly and professionally to clients
• Identify tax credits, deductions, liabilities, and planning opportunities
• Assist clients with IRS audits, tax planning, and financial strategies
• Deliver outstanding client service that builds long-term relationships

• Minimum 5+ years of tax preparation experience
• Strong understanding of federal, state, and local tax regulations
• High degree of accuracy and analytical skill
• Excellent communication and client-facing abilities
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively
• Experience with tax software (e.g., Drake Tax preferred)
