The compensation offered to the candidate selected for the position will depend on several factors, including the candidate's educational background, skills and professional experience.

RWJBarnabas Health is seeking a highly dedicated Registered Nurse for our Case Management Department at Clara Maass Medical Center in Belleville, NJ.

Required:

• ADN
• Minimum of 2 - 3 years experience in a hospital setting
• Minimum of one year experience in Case Management, Utilization Management or Home Care
• Successful completion of all Orientation Programs
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Proficient computer skills
• Strong critical thinking and assessment skills
• Knowledge of system applications and EMR

Preferred:

• BSN degree from an accredited school or university

Certifications and Licenses

Required:

• BLS from the American Heart Association
• Active NJ RN license or compact RN license with NJ endorsement

• Per Diem
• Day Shift
• Scheduled as needed with a minimum requirement of 3 shifts a month
• Will need to work 1 winter and 1 summer holiday

• The Registered Nurse provides nursing care within the scope of practice defined by the Nurse Practice Act and regulatory standards, upholding ethical standards per the ANA code of ethics.
• Maintains safety in practice and uses evidence-based approaches, communicating with and utilizing resources to advance patient care knowledge.
• Reports identified safety issues and medical errors.
• Has knowledge of the patient population served.
• Supervises and directs delegation of tasks to appropriate team members and collaborates with other care providers.
• Sets and evaluates priorities with measurable outcomes toward improvement.
• Uses nursing process to integrate all aspects of care and individualizes the plan of care for each patient.
