Job SummaryRWJBarnabas Health is seeking a highly dedicated Registered Nurse for our Case Management Department at Clara Maass Medical Center in Belleville, NJ.
QualificationsRequired:
- ADN
- Minimum of 2 - 3 years experience in a hospital setting
- Minimum of one year experience in Case Management, Utilization Management or Home Care
- Successful completion of all Orientation Programs
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Proficient computer skills
- Strong critical thinking and assessment skills
- Knowledge of system applications and EMR
Preferred:
- BSN degree from an accredited school or university
Certifications and Licenses
Required:
- BLS from the American Heart Association
- Active NJ RN license or compact RN license with NJ endorsement
- Per Diem
- Day Shift
- Scheduled as needed with a minimum requirement of 3 shifts a month
- Will need to work 1 winter and 1 summer holiday
- The Registered Nurse provides nursing care within the scope of practice defined by the Nurse Practice Act and regulatory standards, upholding ethical standards per the ANA code of ethics.
- Maintains safety in practice and uses evidence-based approaches, communicating with and utilizing resources to advance patient care knowledge.
- Reports identified safety issues and medical errors.
- Has knowledge of the patient population served.
- Supervises and directs delegation of tasks to appropriate team members and collaborates with other care providers.
- Sets and evaluates priorities with measurable outcomes toward improvement.
- Uses nursing process to integrate all aspects of care and individualizes the plan of care for each patient.
