Pay: $47.85 - $64.04 per hour (New Jersey)

RWJBarnabas Health seeks a highly dedicated Registered Nurse to join our Intensive Care Unit at Clara Maass Medical Center in Belleville, NJ. The RN will provide nursing care within the scope of the Nurse Practice Act, ensuring ethical, evidence‑based practice and collaboration with the interdisciplinary team.

• ASN or Nursing Diploma
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Proficient computer skills

• BSN
• Prior experience with the psychiatric population

• Active NJ RN license or compact RN license with NJ endorsement
• BLS from the American Heart Association

• Day Shift, 37.5 hours
• Full Time
• Monday – Friday, every other weekend and holiday rotation
• Includes 3 weekday shifts and 2 weekend shifts per month
• Must work 2 major holidays and 2 minor holidays per year

• Provide nursing care within the scope of practice and regulatory standards.
• Uphold ethical standards as defined by ANA code of ethics.
• Ensure safety in practice, utilizing evidence‑based methods and continuous learning.
• Report identified safety issues such as hazardous environments and medical errors.
• Maintain knowledge of the patient population served.
• Supervise and delegate tasks to team members, collaborating with other providers.
• Consistently set and evaluate priorities through interventions with measurable outcomes.
• Act as an individual practitioner and interdisciplinary team manager, applying the nursing process to individualize patient care plans.
