Pay Range: $85,000.00 - $ per year

• Essential Functions:
  
  The Registered Nurse provides nursing care in the health care system within the scope of practice defined by the Nurse Practice Act and regulatory standards and assures awareness of ethical standards of practice as defined by the ANA code of ethics.
• Assures safety in practice and remains aware of evidence-based practice by maintaining knowledge and communicating with and utilizing resource persons and programs.
• Reports identified safety issues such as hazardous environments and medical errors.
• Maintains knowledge of the patient population served.
• Supervises and directs delegation of tasks to appropriate team members and collaborates with other patient care providers.
• Evaluates priorities and interventions with measurable outcomes toward improvement.
• Acts as an individual practitioner and interdisciplinary team manager, uses the nursing process to integrate all aspects of care, and individualizes the plan of care for each patient.

• Required:
  
  ADN or higher; BSN preferred
• Minimum of 2-3 years experience in a hospital setting
• Minimum of 1 year experience in Case Management, Utilization Management or Home Care
• Successful completion of all Orientation Programs
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Proficient computer skills
• Strong critical thinking and assessment skills
• Knowledge of system applications and EMR

• Certifications and Licenses
  
  Required:
  
  BLS from the American Heart Association;
  Active NJ RN license or compact RN license with NJ endorsement

• Scheduling Requirements:
  Full Time 37.5 hours per week, Day Shift, Monday - Friday with every other weekend and holiday rotation
